In the summer of 2007 what was initially a crossover promotion for MTV Australia as a guest host on TRL in New York, turned into a permanent gig and the start of a new life for Lyndsey Rodrigues. She was the first ever Aussie to sign on as a host with MTV's music video countdown show, TRL (Total Request Live) but it was a natural step on the road to success for the former MTV Australia VJ.

Lyndsey began her foray in entertainment at the tender age of three when her dream was to be a prima ballerina. 13 years of dance classes plus 10 years of acting equals a girl who was completely surprised to find herself as a TV presenter!

That, however, is exactly what she became in early 2005 when MTV Australia offered her a hosting gig on the Australian version of TRL. During her time at MTV Australia she also lent her hosting skills to shows and events such as MTV Australia Video Music Awards, the ASTRA Awards (Australian Subscription Television and Radio Awards), Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Pantene Young Woman of the Year Awards, MTV Snow Cave, MTV Beach House, MTV’s travel show Full Tank and MTV News.

After relocating to New York City and taking on co-hosting duties on TRL, Lyndsey also co-hosted Tila Tequila's New Year's Eve Masquerade 2008 and hosted The Real World Sydney and Hollywood Reunion Special, America’s Best Dance Crew Season Premiere and The Hills Season Premieres and Finales

She has interviewed the who's who in music, film & television, such as Foo Fighters, Chris Brown, Maroon 5, Fergie, Denzel Washington, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, Snoop Dogg, Good Charlotte, Jennifer Aniston, Robert Pattison, 50 Cent, Robert Downey Jnr, The cast of Gossip Girl and Will Smith – just to name a few!

Further cementing Lyndsey’s popularity, upon returning to Australia, Lyndsey was named host of Channel Nine’s logie-award winning show “What’s Good for You” as well as becoming the face of a global advertising campaign for Richard Branson’s V Australia Airlines.

In 2009 Lyndsey was also named as the face of ACP's 30 Days of Health & Wellbeing and hosted the Logies Red Carpet and Australian Fashion Industry Awards. That same year saw Lyndsey appear as Guy Sebastian’s love interest in his clip for Like it Like That which became the most watched video on YouTube, and also hosting the weather during the summer on Channel Nine News with Peter Overton.

Lyndsey has also enjoyed success on national radio as the Summer host of Mix 106.5’s breakfast show and mornings on 96.1FM.

Lyndsey’s background in modelling has led to her gracing the pages of Cleo, Cosmopolitan, Dolly, Girlfriend, In Style, OK!, Seventeen, Men’s Style and Maxim magazine. She has also appeared in commercials for Sunkist, Sony, Differin and Johnson and Johnson as well as print campaigns for Bonds.

Then came a two year stint as Presenter and Writer for BigPond TV’s music channel BPM, where her days were still spent interviewing some of the biggest names in the industry such as Owen Wilson, Zac Efron, Mark Wahlberg, Tinie Tempah, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kelly Clarkson and Cypress Hill. She also wrote and presented her own news bulletins – delivering all of the latest in music and entertainment news, album releases and touring information as well as hitting the red carpet to bring you all of the action from the hottest premieres.

Since relocating to New York City in 2012, Lyndsey has been appointed the host of the popular Hello Style Show "Sexy vs Skanky" and the New York Correspondent for AXS LIVE (where she was lucky enough to interview none other than The Rolling Stones!)

Most recently, Lyndsey has been made the host of the bi-monthly live show "Hello Style Live". When she is not in front of the camera she is putting her producing skills to good use on various projects around both NYC and the country and as one half of a production company she started with her best friend, Brian.

She is represented by Mark Turner of Abrams Artists.

Life is pretty good for this Aussie girl next door!!!
